Spent a nice lunch break here with colleagues. The pumpkin soup was very nicely presented and tasted delicious.

I love this cafe ... The best ice cream by far for me and my daughter. You can tell that a lot of value is placed on fresh fruit and the eye is spoiled again and again! The boss and her daughter make a lot of effort and I recommend everyone a visit to smillas world full of goodies, .. waffles, pastries, cakes and tarts, and the best ice cream sundaes I know. Here is my opinion Nothing with standard! Clearly 5 stars are not enough.

A beautiful café in the heart of Alfter that invites you for coffee, feasting and meeting friends. In addition to cakes, ice cream and waffles, there are also hearty soups, quiche, Bockwurst and a nice breakfast. That scolded by previous speakers about the service, is a pity. So far, everyone has been friendly and even long waiting times are only when it is extremely crowded. And as a human being, I can only understand that then three ice balls can last longer. If I do not have time, I go to a fast food restaurant or I can get something to take away. Come back to Smillashop's Cafébar anytime. Away from the mainstream, to where I am valued as a human being.

Bad service. Each time different, unskilled, haphazard, slow staff, it does not help, if one is friendly. 2 staff were eternally busy with serving ice cream to 2 guests while I was not even noticed until I drew my attention. This is all so disorganized that it is not fun to sit there ... and to wait .... to wait ... and to wait ....

It's a mystery to me how this cafe can make a profit. Only with pretty decoration is not enough. By far the slowest "service" you can imagine. Whether 5 guests or more ... you wait and wait, sometimes over 30 minutes. We left after 45 minutes to unsubscribe the 3 scoops of ice ..! It is always the lack of staff ... even if 2 employees for 5 guests are there works out fine. Then it is searched who owned the order. Incomprehensible. The one star is only for the home-baked cake .. If you get it then ... Never again!

My absolute favorite café in Alfter. Great home-baked cakes, small plates and a damn delicious ice cream. Nice waitresses and more than justified price. TOP!

Rarely visited a cafe that is so lovingly and off the mainstream, like Smilla's Cafébar. The owners and staff are constantly working on new decoration details, so that the visit is always an experience. Many regulars meet here almost every day, but you always meet new faces. Ice cream is very tasty - in addition to the classics under the ice cream cups are also many own creations here. Cake is homemade - it just tastes much better than the bakery. In addition, there is always a small lunch and fresh soups (also homemade). When it gets crowded, unfortunately, you have to bring a little time - which is probably due to the "manual work" ... I am completely satisfied and always come back when I'm in Alfter.

So I have an Amarenabecher. The ice cream was tasteless. My girlfriend had a latte. She left her. Service but nice. Unfortunately, no star. It is not worth.
